If you need a soft buffer, this is the best one I have found. Not only does it fit in my hand well, but its gentle on my nails for prep and touch up. Gotta have it.

I really like this buffer. It feels sturdy and smooths out bumps and ridges without being too harsh.

I’ve always gotten the cheap nail buffers from the drugstore and they’ve never steered me wrong. HOWEVER, this buffer has a little more grit and really preps your nails to hold onto polish. These are my nails after 3 weeks and no chipping!
